In keeping with our general Missions Statement: “Connecting people to
Jesus, growing in God’s love”, we, as a church family choose to obey Jesus’
command in Matthew, chapter 25 to “Feed the hungry and thirsty, clothe the
naked, invite in the stranger, take care of the sick, and visit those in prison”.
A few other scriptures that support Jesus command are as follows:
“Speak up for those who cannot speak for themselves, for the rights of all who are destitute. Speak up and judge fairly; defend the rights of the poor and needy” Proverbs 31:8-9:
“He who oppresses the poor shows contempt for their Maker, but whoever is kind to the needy honours God.” Proverbs 14:31
“If anyone has material possessions and sees his brother in need but has no pity on him, How can the love of God be in him? Dear children, let us not love with words or tongue but with actions and in truth.” 1 John 3:17-18

We support The Gideons financially on a monthly basis, providing Bibles to various countries. The Gideons translate Bibles into many languages.

Samaritan’s Purse
We support “Samaritan’s Purse” monthly, providing assistance in disaster/war-torn areas throughout the world.

Operation Christmas Child
We are involved in Operation Christmas Child collecting Shoe Boxes packed with items for children at Christmas time. This is also under the umbrella of “Samaritan’s Purse”
